Easter Photos (and a promise of things to come)

Monday, April 9, 2012

Once again I managed to take a blogging hiatus by accident. It happens from time to time when there's either too much going on or nothing at all. We've been busy with activities, me keeping my 2yr old niece full time for a 6 week period and a kitchen makeover which I will share pictures of as soon as it's finished. I'm also in the middle of planning Ella's party which happens this coming weekend. I'm sure I'll have plenty of photos to share of that event as well! For now, here are some photos of us over Easter weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I promise I'll have more photos and ideas to share over the next month with a kitchen reveal, a princess party, and a beach vacation! Stay tuned!

Sweet Sawyer {greensboro nc newborn photographer}

Monday, March 5, 2012

I was able to meet & photograph sweet baby Sawyer this weekend! His mommy is a firefighter for the Greensboro Fire Dept. and I was thrilled to get the chance to create these beautiful images and incorporate her career into the session! I hope she will love them as much as I do! Thanks J&A for allowing me to create these memories for you! Enjoy your peek!

Lynnsey & Matt: an engagement shoot {greensboro nc couples photographer}

Monday, January 30, 2012

I had an absolute blast with Lynnsey & Matt as I photographed them in celebration of their engagement! They are such a fun couple and I think it shows in their amazing images. Can you even believe this first image...the heart in the sky?! Completely natural! The clouds aligned and the rays of sun shining through was absolutely stunning! Thank you L&M for choosing me to capture this special time in your lives! Looking forward to a great summer wedding!!

Lazy Day..and some new editing style {kernersville nc photographer}

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Today I had the chance to fiddle with my new camera a bit and see how well she performs in low indoor light. The morning started out sunny but by 10am the wintry clouds had moved in and created a darker, gloomier environment...the perfect chance to see what Lola can do! These photos were taken with ISOs ranging from 1250 to 3200 and not the least bit of noise. My d90 couldn't touch that! You would never know that these were taken in a dark room! I figured I'd play around with some new editing as well just to try out a different "look." Yay or nay? I kinda like it but it's definitely not for every photo. Let me know what you think! Hope you are having a great start to your week!
