Well, it has happened....my little boy has lost his first tooth! It's been wiggling for a couple of weeks now and we knew that it was going to happen soon. Hayden came home from school today and was all SMILES ;) with one noticeable difference....a hole in place of a tooth!! He was so excited and so proud! "I bit into a chicken nugget mommy and it just came out!"
It seems not that long ago that Todd and I were excited about a similar event....in the reverse. Hayden was about 6 1/2 months old and there it was....a little, bumpy, white, ridge emerging from his toothless grin! It's amazing how quickly it all happens! Pretty soon his voice will change and I'll have to look upward to see his face. Ooohhh, I think I feel a tear coming on....
I have to tell you that I have been trying to pull that tooth for a WEEK!!!! He just wouldn't let me get a hold of it...I think he was scared that it would hurt. I asked him if he thought I would ever hurt him and he said "well no, of course not" (which made me feel good)! I told him not to tell you and to see if you noticed...did it work, or was he so excited when he got off the bus? I new this exciting event would make the blog!!!!
