I've been working on some spring sets for Halle and here is one of the pieces I've made so far. I'm stumped as to what the top should look like. Maybe a pretty appliqued tee or tank or maybe a peasant top. What do you think? If you have any ideas please share them as I am open to suggestions. Do you have any patterns or appliques you'd be willing to share? I need ideas!

I wish I was young enough to wear this stuff :) Ok I'm not a sewer really except for book covers and the occasional handbag, but I like those tops that are just 2 panels of fabric and they are tied together at the top with a string. Like a halter only the back is closed in.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! How long did it take you to make it? For the top, I would make something simple--like the appliqued tank you suggested or a simple little black cotton top with some sort of trendy fit :)

ReplyDeleteI think a peasant top would be too much fabric, so I'd go with something more slim fitting. :)
