Photo Challenge **CLOSED**

Sunday, February 8, 2009

So, here I am at home playing hookey from church. Well, actually the baby and I both have some nasty colds and I thought it best if we stayed in today instead of spreading our germs to the masses! So, in my boredom I have come up with a challenge. I know that many of you out there have what I don't...PhotoShop! It's on my list of things to get...along with a new digital SLR (looking at the Nikon D90). Anyway, I took a photo of Ella this morning crawling around in a tutu. I think this shot is cute (I'm a sucker for baby feet) but has the potential to be great. This is where YOU come in! If you have a great photo editing program, be it Photoshop or something else, I challenge you to take this photo and make it better. Be creative! I want to see what you all can do. Next weekend, on Valentines Day, I will select my favorites and post them on my blog and give you credit for your work. I will also select one photo as my favorite and the lucky winner will receive a set of my incredibly soft minky washcloths. Even if you don't have a little one these are great b/c you can use them on your own face! You will love them. So, here is the photo SOOC. Take it and transform it into a work of art! I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Be sure to leave a comment and let me know where I can find the photo!

  5. Hana, what a fun idea... I only wish it was a slightly different picture. Photoshop really comes in handy for portraits.... this one is very good SOOC. Still, I'll give it a try. Do you have a thumbnail somewhere of the fabric you mentioned in your comment? Still need to work on that.. :)

  16. Hana, just to let you know I use a photo editing program that is free. It is called GIMP. It is very similar to Photoshop, but FREE. You can download it off the internet and give it a try. I am not sure what I could do with your photo, it is so cute already.
