Yesterday was a big day for Halle! She got her first ever haircut (sorry mom ♥)! I've been putting it off for quite some time (she's 3) for fear of cutting off her baby curls but I have to say that it looks adorable. A sweet friend of mine did the trim and only took off what was necessary to even up the back a bit. Halle loves her new "do" and is proud to show everyone her "big girl haircut"!
I LOVE how you can see my silhouette against the window in each of Halle's eyes in this photograph! (see mom, she still has curls!)
I love that first photo. And, I know what you mean about the fear of losing the curls. I finally got my son's hair cut last month and I miss the curls!
You asked about thrift stores...there is an amazing consignment store for women. "Pricier" but that's relatively speaking. They had about ten items brand new from White House Black Market with the $75 tags on for $14.95. It's called DejaVu (spelling is wrong)and it's right next to the Salvation Army in N. Myrtle. It's off of Hwy 17, around 6th Avenue. I'm sure it's in the phone book. There were a few around that area of N. Myrtle. The Salvation Army's kids clothes are only $.75 and when I was there I found some great things, but that one is really hit or miss. We went one day and there was nothing but junk and 2 days later..found a bunch. Definitely a thrift store feel, but the DejaView is really nice...more like a boutique.
She's precious. I think I will cut Mia's hair never.
ReplyDeleteShe is just DARLING! I adore those pictures!
ReplyDeleteWow she looks so grown up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteHair cuts really do make them look so much more refined, especially since they do so many unrefined things, heehee!
awwww...she is adorable
ReplyDeletewith those big brown doll eyes!!
