Halle's Very Merry 5th Un-Birthday: a tea party in Wonderland

Wow!! Today we celebrated Halle's 5th Birthday!! That's hard for me to believe. Deep breath. She is turning into such a beautiful little lady. She likes to go shopping, get her finger & toenails painted, play dress-up, wear make-up (just a smidge on special occasions), and wear my jewelry. She LOVES to draw and create and is always giving me little artwork "presents." She's a little bit shy, you'll see evidence of that in a photo below when she shys away as we sing Happy Birthday, but she's head strong when she doesn't get her way. Can you say Drama Queen?! Yes maam she is! But I love her more than words can say! She is my mini-me and I am so blessed to call her my daughter.

Putting this party together was sooo much fun! We started dreaming up ideas last summer when we decided on a theme...yes, I plan ahead...but then I procrastinate and throw it all together at the last minute, ha! I am beyond thrilled with how it all turned out and by the look on my daughter's face as she hugged me at the end of the day it was worth every second!
