Heirloom Baby Quilt

Hello all! Sorry my blogs have been so few and far between. I've been a busy girl, creating and sewing, trying to build stock for my etsy shop. My newest creation is complete and I want to share with you! I made it for Ella and I call it the "Garden Party Quilt". It is pieced using multiple garden or outdoor themed fabrics in a color palette of pink, aqua, chocolate, lime, and cream! It reverses to a luscious chocolate minky swirl! Yummy, yummy!! So pretty and incredibly soft! The batting is eco-friendly and is 50% Bamboo/50% Organic Cotton. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, is the fastest growing timber plant in the world, and absorbs 2/3 more carbon dioxide and releases 2/3 more oxygen than any other plant on earth. It feels good to be able to use earth friendly products! So much better than synthetic polyester. I love how the quilt turned out and Ella seems to agree!

This quilt makes a wonderful tummy-time play quilt and even has ribbon tabs for attaching toys! The soft minky also makes it ideal for snuggling up your little one on chilly nights! I would be more than happy to make a quilt for your little one for $80. I will work with you to get the perfect color scheme or theme. If you ever want to splurge on your little one then this is the way to go. Makes a wonderful gift for an expecting or new mom or a great Christmas gift for your sweet little bundle. So much nicer than a bunch of plastic toys! It will be a keepsake that will always be treasured!
