Lazy Day..and some new editing style {kernersville nc photographer}

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Today I had the chance to fiddle with my new camera a bit and see how well she performs in low indoor light. The morning started out sunny but by 10am the wintry clouds had moved in and created a darker, gloomier environment...the perfect chance to see what Lola can do! These photos were taken with ISOs ranging from 1250 to 3200 and not the least bit of noise. My d90 couldn't touch that! You would never know that these were taken in a dark room! I figured I'd play around with some new editing as well just to try out a different "look." Yay or nay? I kinda like it but it's definitely not for every photo. Let me know what you think! Hope you are having a great start to your week!

  1. Gorgeous photos, as always!

    I'd love to see a "before" picture of how dark the room was.

  3. Hi there...thank you for the kind words! The sofa is made by Rowe Furniture, you can see their current collection online but I bought this one in Jan of 2008 at a local retailer so it might be hard to find. They have great prints though so I hope this helps!
