Early last week we visited downtown Winston Salem at the Milton Rhodes Center for Visual Arts where Halle's artwork was showcased at a spring art exhibit. It brought back memories of having my own artwork showcased there years ago (when it was the Sawtooth School for Visual Arts) and also where I attended a summer art program on a scholarship. Halle is always bringing home beautiful art pieces and we are so proud of her artistic talent and so proud that one of her pieces was selected for the exhibit. Here she is standing underneath her piece...it's the abstract land piece on the upper right corner :) I saw the quote below a while back and loved it so I created a 5x7 print that pairs perfectly with this image of her. Thank you for bearing with me as I make changes to my blog. The new logo should be up later today or tomorrow!
